The statement above is not my personal oppinion-but rather the oppinion of some PalmOS programmers.

Anyways, there is a hot discussion currently going on in the Palm OS developer mailing list. We are discussing ways to optimize the coding experience, the tools, the SDK, the documentation and of course also the new OS releases-tune in if you feel like it!

  4. forgot to post, I just love your blog!!! thanks!!

  5. There definitely are some things that could be improved, but it also could be worse. Take a look at the Symbian tools and dev environment if you want to see a REAL mess.

  6. Hi,
    thanks for the compliments.

The dev list is a mailing list managed by PalmSource where developers can discuss amone one another.

About Series 60: shoot, and I wanted to start coding for this platform soon just 4 kicks…

  7. Were you planning on using the GCC tool chain or were you going to purchase a Metrowerks kit? They both are pretty klunky, IMHO.

  8. Hi,
for Series 60: I still was at an extremely early stage of the project.

    Still thinking about:

Do I want to do it and loose a bet or do I want to better not sdo it(and save lots of time)…

    What would you reccomend?

    Best regards

  9. Hi you three,
