Anyways, there is a hot discussion currently going on in the Palm OS developer mailing list. We are discussing ways to optimize the coding experience, the tools, the SDK, the documentation and of course also the new OS releases-tune in if you feel like it!

There definitely are some things that could be improved, but it also could be worse. Take a look at the Symbian tools and dev environment if you want to see a REAL mess.

The dev list is a mailing list managed by PalmSource where developers can discuss amone one another.

Were you planning on using the GCC tool chain or were you going to purchase a Metrowerks kit? They both are pretty klunky, IMHO.

Do I want to do it and loose a bet or do I want to better not sdo it(and save lots of time)…
