RAM is precious-this is clear for most of us. Anyways, people who use a Tungsten E2 and don’t need the Blazer Browser(I almost prefer WebPro 3.5 so far) can regain 2 megabytes by removing those programs(by the way, a hard reset brings them back).

Just open the regular launcher on your TE2. Do as if you were deleting an app that is no longer needed, and choose the following entries:

  • NetFrontLib
  • Web

Deleting them should give you at least 1.7MB of storage that you can use for something else.

Will you remove Blazer?

  1. No … why should I delete the Blazerbrowser (4.0).
It’s one of the best I’ve ever had. :p

  2. Hm, Blazer has problems (4.0) with huge sites. Blazer 4.1 is a better choice. There aren’t many good browsers. But why copies it Blazer into RAM?

  3. Hi,
honestly spoken: I prefer Web Pro on my E2 because of Blazer’s 2-time layout switch…
In fact, you could IMHO also delete HTTPLibrary, but the question is if this wont break third-party app compatibility.

  4. I don’t suppose you could move Blazer from RAM to an SD card, and run it from there…?

  5. You could try it… But I don’t think that it work, except you use ZLauncher. Then you could be successful.
