OK, This is the solution.

The files you need to copy are FOUR and not TREE as mention above (note that FileZ.prc is the FileZ app used to copy the files)

The files you need to copy from the LD are:

1. FileBrowser-PFil.prc
2. FileBrowser-PFil_enUS.prc (or_esES or whataver language you want)
3. FileBrowserCacheLib-PFil.prc
4. FileBrowserLib-PFiA.prc

Note that the FileBrowserCacheLib-PFil.prc file is not mentioned above. This file will make the Files app to show all files and folders Brian.

If you install all four files and the palm resets each time you try to enter the files application, you need to do a hard reset and then install all files. After just copy the Saved Preferences.prc file just not to loose your unlock codes for your apps previously installed

This will do it!

Greetings,

I tried copying the FileBrowser files you mentioned from my lifedrive to my treo 680. Didn't crash at all, but just doesn't show any files for folders! I can't seem to find a file browser that will launch files in Documents To Go. The interface of Docs to go sucks because it throws all my files into a single list, ignoring the folder organization. Any ideas?

BTW,
changing the attributes of FileBrowser-PFil.prc,FileBrowser-PFil_enUS.prc
FileBrowserLib-PFiA.prc from read-only to not read-only (unchecking the read-only attribute of each file on FileZ, and even unchecking the backup attribute) makes no change. Checked or unchecked, files from a T5 won't work on my TX.

Things that work and doen't work on my TX:

1. DriveMode copied from a T5 works great!!. DriveMode from a LifeDrive doesn't work at all.

2. Dmitry's E2InternalDrive.prc works OK if installed alone. When installed with DriveMode, it crashes. Apparently it's because the internal memory is TFFS and not FAT, so DriveMode cannot handle it (Thanks for the tip Dmitry). THAT MEANS YOU CANNOT USE DRIVEMODE FROM A T5 (V.1.0) AND E2INTERNALDRIVE TOGETHER.

3. Files (PalmOne's File Browser) when copied from a T5 makes the tx crashes everytime I try to enter the app (with or without E2internalDrive.prc). When copied from a LifeDrive, the app doesn't crash, I can enter it, but the SD Card icon (or the buitin drive icon if E2internaldrive installed) on the right upper corner doesn't appear on the screen and I cannot handdle or work with any directory; I can't even create a directory, a dialog appears when so telling me the directory already exist and none appears on the screen. (I copied FileBrowser-PFil.prc,FileBrowser-PFil_enUS.prc
FileBrowserLib-PFiA.prc). I CANNOT CONFIGURE FILES TO WORK ON MY TX.

Any suggestions??
