We all still remember the day when Sony abandoned the CLIE line. However, they now are back with a new wireless hardware(altough not Palm OS based).

The Sony Reader is considered a successor to the Librie which is sold in japan for quite some time already. The new box still has a monochrome display, will have about 64MB of internal memory. the real bit of news is the use of an e-paper display!

The machine is said to go on sale in the US by March 2006! It will weigh about 250 grams and will be a bit larger than the average PDA.
