According to LinuxDevices, an european embedded device manufacturer has announced plans to develop a WristPDA knockoff that will run Windows CE and Linux.

It is said to weigh 200 grams and will work for 6 to eight hours on a single charge. It is said to integrate WLAN and Bluetooth…

To be honest, I am not surer how this device will fare in the market. Many people already considered the WristPDA heavy, so how will this 200gram box with the huge touchscreen fare? If it weighs 200 grams, it is not a big step up to a “true PDA” like a Palm TX or one of the smaler ipaqs…

  1. maybe if they manage to sell it as an “ultimate-super-hitech-do-everything-super-fashion-accessory” for teenagers… but in that case it should sold by apple and called something like iPod Brain. I´ve already seen a few people wearing their iPods on armbands…
