Many TamsPalm readers like 3d games-for the, perfoemance is everything. Since absolutely nothing beats having the fastest, meanest box in town, benchmarks are a necceccity rather than a toy =).

Anyways, TomsHardwareGuide looks at one of the most classic 3d game benchmarks ever-at the 3dmark, now in its 2006 incarnation. The review doesnt just cover 2006 though, it also covers the past history of the benchmark and the past history of graphics cores for PCs in general…
