What do you think?

While I love using my Palm as an MP3 player, this seems to be the wrong approach. Emulating the iPod UI seems a poor match, as you are trying to make the touchscreen do what a hardware control does on the iPod. Given the Treo has significantly more tactile controls, it seems a classic case of form over function.
And 15 days beta? C’mon…
I wouldn’t buy it, too, but maybe other people like it…

Hi Joshua,
in fact, In prefer the regular interface to the ipod one….
So, no need for me to use it either, but a few people may like it!

Does it support OGG Vorbis audios files? It shall be a good idea, this format is free and documented and has got best quality and smaller file size.
Hi Yann,
please don’t take my word on it, but AFAIK, no ogg in it yet!

Don’t you get frustrated that you can only use iTunes?
I found it far too restrictive. It’s like buying a Toyota and only being allowed to use gas from the Toyota garage - or a Hotpoint Washing Machine, but only being allowed to use their own brand of washing powder.
They should open up the spec of the iPod so that you can use any kind of audio format, instead of trying to monopolize the marketplace.
Just my two pence! :o)
Peace out x
Hi Melissa,
full ack…

Hi,
Melissa — It’s just an MP3 player that looks like an iPod UI
If you want that, just get pTunes deluxe, the plugins they’ve available on the site (ogg, wav, etc) and an iStuff skin
Rock on,
Ryan
