On the new Office UI

Microsoft Office 2007 will have a totally new UI. It is probably the most radical redesign since the creation of Office…and I always wondered why.

However, David Weiss, a member of Microsoft’s Mac Business Unit, managed to find a few links from designers of the new Microsoft Office UI-and posted them on his blog for all of us:

Personally, I am not sure about how this new thingy will work out for Microsoft. It could be great, but it also has the potential to suck terribly-after all, Microsoft Office .net works really well!
