TamsPalm was the first site to cover version 3.01 of tejpWriter. Anyways, Peter Thorstenson just sent us some extra details on what changed in version 3.01. The release announcememt of this Palm OS app was so cool that we had to quote it fully:

I was just joking. Bugfixes. No need to tap on the most common fields anymore. There were some screen update issues, and most important the Compression routine, it’s faster–14 times. I’m writing about it.
tejpWriter now removes all bookmark records when decompressing. It’s a preparation for making the viewer into the best viewer for Palm. Yes, I exaggerate sometimes. Anyway, when compressing all of the dynamic bookmarks (the ones marked with bookmark character) will be stored as bookmark records. That way it will be faster to find the bookmark positions on compressed docs. I know you don’t use the viewer, but I think many will when I’m ready with it!
