According to the PalmInfoCenter, the Treo 680 will be delayed even further because of manufacturing problems.

Some brainiac at the manufacturers forgot to con nect the internal microphone to the planar of the units – don’t ask me why, but it looks like shit happens…

Anyways, Amazon now stopped listing the Palm Treo 680 – altough the book about it can still be purchased. BTW, the GSPDA M70 costs about half as much, and Expansys is already taking preorders….

  1. the M70 has a very good price but beware of the software !
I have an M68, the M70 is not very different, the main concern is about the phone software, it’s the palmsource phone application, not the palm version, it means that none of the program available for Treo works on it

    time for a MakeTreo ? :-)

  2. A MakeTreo would not simply works, as libs for Treo extension may need handle anyway..unless a wrapper for these libs are developed…not just simply change the device ID…

    Just my 2 cents…
    :)

  3. Hi,

    Best regards
