VeriChat was one of the first Palm OS IM programs – and now, according to the PalmInfoCenter, Nokia forced the developer to stop selling new licences to the product!

Anyways, according to user comments, the developer will still honor all existing subscriptions – so you won’t be without IM tomorrow!

  1. I was hit with this today when I tried to load Verichat. The really bad news is that the bums won’t even renew your license. The good news? If you change the date on your Treo to before the expiration date, Verichat still works!

Meanwhile, I will NEVER again buy a Nokia product, as my thank you to them for this total slap in the face to the Treo community. A curse on Nokia!
