A user of the #srcedit channel pointed me to this interesting story on Engadget:

It looks as if the Handheld PC 2000 form factor is slowly but surely coming back again. Sony brought us a Palm OS powered “handheld PC” with the UX50; but their departure ended that device’s life abruptly.

But who knows – if these boxen sell well, there could be a rehash running ALP from someone!

What do you think?

  1. Looks more like the Apple eMate.

    Wikipedia Link.

  2. UX50 and the Zaurus SL-Cxxx have pretty much the same design.

  3. Hi Jeff,
I don’t care what it looks like, as long as it has a decent keyboard =).

    Best regards

  4. Hi,
really – keyboard is the almost most important thingy for me =). I could maybe even part with Palm OS if the HPC form factor would return.

    Best regards
