Engadget reports on a new Linux smartphone from Gupp Technologies(no typo, and please no Guppy jokes=)).

The phone has a pretty strange design(Guppy analolgies, here we come) – otherwise, its hardware is similar to Palms Treo line except for packing 802.11b/g and 320MB of memory.

IMHO, the mobile device scene is really starting to gain traction; which is bad for Access. Their ALP could have been the de facto standard – but as more and more Linux distributions make it out, ALP becomes just another player among many…
