That's cool. If you are lazy (like me), when you Resize the icons down, use "Nearest Neighbor" and not best quality. There will not be any white bordors, but the quality goes down the tubes ;-)

I did a version of the OpenMoko theme for the Zodiac Launcher. I've been meaning to redo it without the white halo effect (I was too lazy to clean the icon edges).

The only problem is that when you have the statbar down, and you switch apps/views/popups it comes back. This would have to be "fixed" too. I would love a customizable statusbar though.... :-)

"The position of the buttons cannot be changed in the Palm OS, only the look of them."

Actually, you gave me another new idea Brent :D

Since it is possible to hide the statbar, someone like Dmitry or Alex should be able to make a replacement bar that lets us control how the statbar icons are displayed :)

I'm sure they'll love me for that suggestion :D

"It seems strange to have status symbols like battery, clock, and signal strength to be placed in the middle of the line. I am more used to seeing these items pushed to a corner. "

That's the T|X status bar skinned. :-)

Best Regard,
Ryan Rix

The font boldness/color can be easily changed.

I don't really know what you mean, when you say push the icons to the corner, do you mean like the real OpenMoko? The position of the buttons cannot be changed in the Palm OS, only the look of them.

You should create more contrast between the font which names the applications and the background. This may simply be provided by using a bold font style.

It seems strange to have status symbols like battery, clock, and signal strength to be placed in the middle of the line. I am more used to seeing these items pushed to a corner.

Also, since you have items in that same line which need to be clicked more often than the status icons mentioned above, it may make more sense for those to be placed in the center.
