PDA performance has just sent out an email to all the folks who had signed up to be notified for new news (if that’s correct grammar) on Saguaro, the multitasking widget interface for PalmOS.
The Email was “lacking” (it was simply a giant image saying ’2 days’) but I guess that’s enough.
So, in two days we will finally see Saguaro, and expect full coverage on TamsPalm!

The last version I have beta tested was 2 days ago,and it crashed my zodiac badly…

Does anybody know if SyleTap will beable to run Saguaro? I have a pocket PC Emulator, and I think thats the only way that I can try it out…

I’ve talked with PDA Performance’s president, Marshall Minardo, and he basically said that PDA Performance has taken the core code base of saguaro and released a widget engine under the name lineup. What you see is technically Saguaro, just not in the form you’ve expected.
I;ve played with lineup a bit (reviews incoming) and have to say it’s pretty cool, given that I’m not really into widgets.

Please ask if Saguaro will do more than launch widgets and, if so, when they will release the full Saguaro multitasking environment
