After having written about GSPDA’s products for years; trying to get a sample for months and fighting Expansys about shipping the box for weeks; we proudly present you this GSPDA M70 review. Before we get into the nitty-gritty of the device, let’s look at what’s in the box.
Expansys shipped the machine via UPS, the parcel arrived on the 24th of December(8 weeks after it was ordered). The box was rather big:
Opening it reveals a ton of packaging material and a very small box that somewhat reminded me of Apple’s iPod boxen:
Sliding the top of the rest of the box reveals a Chinese sheet containing some sort of undecipherable data about an installed application called MOSClient.
Below that, you can find a 512MB SD card and the manual/software package:
Remove that to find the phone and the battery on a little ‘tray’. The phone’s screen is covered by a transparent foil that makes a decent screen protector:
This tray reveals a wealth of accessories. Like Fossil, GSPDA has included an extra stylus, a headset, an USB cable and a charger with an UK plug(not removable..but the wallwart CAN take other ac voltages, too):
The M70 ships with one of the most generous accessory packages I have ever seen for a mobile device. A person buying the box needs nothing else to fully appreciate the device – big kudos to whoever worked this out.
