I just got a Centro (migrated from a Zodiac 2), and I will definitely be adding new software to it. Resco Explorer fixed a problem I had with beaming associations, so I will be buying it, but need to evaluate other Resco software as well.

The real problem is no one advertises 3rd party software for the Palm anymore. With both the Zodiac and the TX, you got a pamphlet telling you where to go to get more software. My Centro just told me where to go to order AT&T services. If you don’t let the users know you can add software, they never will.

That goes back to what I said… three? months ago when the Centro was first announced. teenagers look at the device as a nice SMS phone with a QWERTY keyboard; they probably don’t even know you can get thrid party apps for them.
