Should Palm OS II ever see the light of the day (I am doubtful about it, and am so for good reason), it’s UI may look similar to the one found on danger’s SideKick models. The reason for this is good ole brain drain – Palm hired Matias Duarte.

The SideKick’s UI has been very modern and slick – which is unsurprising, as the machine is targeted at teenagers. However, I am not sure about its suitability for business: it is very possible that Palm will run a two-tier strategy involving Nova and Windows Mobile. WinMob-powered devices will handle all business-related things, whereas Nova is targeted at consumers.

As of now, there is little more to say – stay tuned for further info!
