Jeff Hawkins talks Foleo

After the Foleo went belly-up, Jeff Hawkins turned silent. However, this seems to have changed now – Yahoo Finance has managed to get an interview about netbooks and the Foleo.

First of all: Jeff Hawkins has confirmed that many people still use their prototype Foleos – he claims that 500 to 1000 units have been made, many of which are still in use all over the world.

Hawkins further stated that he still believes in the Foleo and thinks that it is a better idea than the currently-available Netbooks. He says that he himself has seen many users demand similar devices, and covertly blames tech news services for the demise of his “brainchild”.
