Unfortunately, the issue has not been resolved completely.
Mytreo.net broke their promises and did not make the final royalty break-down and payments.
Even their Associated Developers are left without royalties

I wrote about that sad fact in the comments to the original article

I agree totally. I'm glad you say that Tadd has been more forthcoming. Would've been nice if it has been more public, but its time to move on.

Hello,
I have to say that Tadd has rowed back on this issue recently, and made a pretty good impression on me.

Fook-ups do happen - as long as they remain isolated incidents, one can forgive IMHO.

All the best

Agreed, this was no way to treat the developers or run any kind of a respectable business. Tadd seems to have developed an austrich approach to dealing with problems (bury your hand in the sand and ignore the problem till it goes away). Anyhoo, the damage is done and it will take a long time for users to trust MTDN again. Personally it has motivated me to shun away from MyTreo forums.

I must say that although this has been quite entertaining, its sad that the developers were left in the dark (and without compensation) for so long as to what was happening. It is great that MTDN will be able to continue on and that it has ended as a win-win for everyone. I have to give credit to the key developer, who brought this to everyone's attention. He is a standup guy and made sure everyone knew that the problem has now been resolved. Unfortunately, I think MTDN lost some credibility here in the situation occuring in the first palce, their initial response or lack of, and their present attempts to control what is written about it. They don't appear to accept any responsibility for the situation (and yes I read the thread in MTDN's forum with Chris and Tad's explanations),and had they not left such a vacuum of information about this for so long, they wouldn't have as much damage control to do now. I say this to MTDN, you got yourself into this situation, take your licks, and move on.
