I am a total fan of MSI’s Wind series – these lines are being typed on an MSI Wind U100 tethered to the internet via a Nokia N71. The device is said to have a different look and is intended for business customers:

The box’s most outstanding feature is the inclusion of a 3G radio. A SIM card can be inserted into the device: while this allows you to leave the phone at home,. it also robs you of the phone functionality provided by most data cards.
Further specs include 2GB of RAM,. a 160GB HDD and possibly a faster CPU. Furthermore, an SSD can be fitted on request. The Synaptics touchpad (I personally love it, but my girlfriend HATES it) will be replaced by a Scentelics one which does not offer touch scroll.
Rumors say that the device will cost 600USD…
