		<description>I bought a refurbished 16gb ipod touch from the apple store, and it showed up defective. It had the same problems mentioned in other articles such as failing to download or play music and movies, and it also would turn itself off and refuse to turn back on. I immediately called Apple. They refused to replace it, and could not guarantee that returning it would result in a repair or replacement. I spent 2 hours with someone from India who spoke broken English, and ended up asking for a refund which will take weeks to process. The phone reps told me that there was no supervisor provided to address complaints. This was all after performing all recomended repairs and downloads, and bringing it to an Apple store. These units have quality control issues, and the online store is a scam. I will still buy it locally for my son, but I will never buy another Apple product.
