Industry insiders have frequently feared that Palm would copy Apple’s gesture-based interface 1:1 and thereby give the company an opportunity for a lawsuit.
The latest document leaked via Sprint proves that these fears are not too true: while some gestures are similar (think pinch for zooming), the Pre generally has a completely different gesture language which will probably not be understood by the average iPhone user without consulting the manual.
