Mobipocket is a poor substitute for Avantgo but is easier to use than Plucker. For ITouch you have the ability to send news from a kindle into a usable format for the ITouch.

Mobipocket needs to be downloaded onto a windows computer and pressing ENews you have a few options like BBC, Times and USA Today. It is free though and worth about 20 minutes of reading for a sacrifice of 5 minutes upload.

I definitely confirm the suggestion for Plucker - have used it for ages in the past and loved it!

All the best

Try Plucker Viewer for PalmOS ( http://plkr.org/) with Desktop/Frontend (e.g. Sunrise for WIN XP - http://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/SunriseXP_tutorial)

I have been looking all over for a good replacement. The RSS feeds only download a portion and not the whole article without internet access. I use it on the airplane where there isn't internet access. Which is the best replacment for Avantgo?
