Palm originally promised that its LifeDrive handheld would be able to access USB storage one day – unfortunately, the hardware for this never materialized (class-action lawsuit, anyone?).
The picture on the left shows a device by Elan Digisystems, which plugs into MicroSD slots and lets you access USB sticks and other storage mediums.
