laptop burka Laptop Burka or outdoor readability countsThe picture on the left shows the so-called Laptop Burka. It was invented by an US electrician called Mark Johnson, who happened to be “fed up with the glare”:

Hey I’m back by popular demand ! Stopping glare on your laptop computer. Providing freedom to the masses ! Pesky Peekers no more mind your own busniess ! Serious latop users go no further .Dont bother with those anti glare filters that dont work ! Enjoy a Laptop Burka in any color ! Laptop Burka works with any laptop anywhere. Light weight easy to carry and store.

Even though I am not sure whether his idea will really capture the masses (purchasable for 20$ off CraigsList), Marc nevertheless should give quite a few manufacturers loads of food for thought.

While glossy screens look great in-doors, it is very hard to beat reflective technology for outdoor use. As devices become more and more mobile, and as temperatures raise….well, you get the idea :) .
