webos 1.3 webOS 1.3 handledPalm’s recent management of the media is excellent: nice events on the one side, well-controlled leaks on the other. Combined, this gives them loads of ink…which is a commodity Palm has been struggling for in its pre-Pre days.

Ryan Kairer’s team was provided with an emulator for the upcoming webOS release 1.3 – and found out a few interesting things.

First of all, the boys have taken a book out of Microsoft’s manual by integrating the dialog seen on the left: users will be able to choose the default applications themselves in the near future.

Among other features, files related to FaceBook, Flash and Funambol support can be found – which means that work on these areas seems to be in progress.

As of now, no official release date has been stated. However, many think that it will launch along the Pixi on the 15th – let’s see how it all plays out,…
