You mean Palm is charging developers for the privilege of submitting their apps? Who are they kidding? Didn\’t they learn from Palm OS that a large number of apps is a key factor for success (provided you can then manage and maintain that dominant position you earned…)? Apple seems to have better realized that, with their \”There\’s an app for that\” slogan. Given their very limited webOS app base, Palm should instead do like IBM for OS/2 in a distant past and pay developers to write apps for them. But they\’re broke, having wasted their cash splitting the company then rebuying their own OS…
