We’ve heard loads and loads of statements regarding an upcoming webOS device for Verizon. There really should not be any doubt about this anymore – the main question is when the device will drop and which one it will be.

PhoneArena now claims the following:

Thanks to a few of our tipsters, we’ve learned what new smartphones are lurking to be released by Verizon Wireless over the next couple of months. The Palm Pre Plus is currently listed in Verizon’s internal system, through there’s no specs or pictures, so we’ll have to wait and see what the “Plus” difference is. But this should come as no surprise, as an internal video on WebOS was also posted a few days ago for Verizon employees to view.

IMHO, we’re looking at 16GB of memory here. Not much more, not much less – after all, we are talking about Palm here. Worst case, an SD slot or a better camera – don’t forget that they also need to keep Sprint happy!

As of now, not much further information is available. However, the claims sound more than sensible to me…
