Palm’s Mobile Hotspot solution is interesting – while similar features have been available for other devices for some time, Palm is the first to bundle it into the firmware.

So far, Verizon charged its customers an extra 20$ per month for this…but no more. Effective immediately, Mobile Hotspot service is free. New customers can add the product to their plan for 0$, while Verizon claims that existing customers will be charged 0$/mo come the next month.

Sounds good to me…
