Krusell’s sales data can be considered a monthly “fix point” in the Tamoggemon Content Network’s schedule – after all, getting real-world sales data is not as easy as one might think in the first place.

Nokia managed to gobble up a whooping 60% of the top-ten list for November 2010:

1. (1) Apple iPhone 4
2. (2) Nokia 3720 Classic
3. (3) Samsung I9000 Galaxy S
4. (4) Nokia C5
5. (-) Nokia N8
6. (7) HTC HD2
7. (8) Nokia E52
8. (9) Nokia 6700 Classic
9. (6) Nokia 6303 Classic
10. (-) HTC Desire HD
() = Last month’s position.

That iPhone 4 remains in the first place on Krusell’s Top Ten list for November isn’t a big surprise, says Ulf Sandberg CEO at Krusell. That Nokia are able to take seven out of ten positions is maybe more of a surprise. Sony Ericsson’s Xperia series and iPhone 3 are out of the list this month. When we present the list for December, I’m sure we will have new models climbing up the list, Sandberg ends.

Not much to add here…

Two years ago, Symbian staff spoke about upcoming dial-core handsets. All kinds of device rumors have since been published – and both NVidia and TI have now published extra info.

Palm’s Jon Rubinstein has been speaking at the D: Dive Into Mobile conference recently.

One of the panelists asked him whether the Palm name would continue – his answer was short and telling:

Jon: Okay you heard it here first. You know honestly I have no allegiance to it. It has some good connotations, it has some bad.

As of this writing, not much more is known. However, I don’t think that HP will drop the Palm name from the handsets completely – the name still is better than the HP one was…

We have seen hidden software keyboards on various platforms – on the iPhone, we got an emoji keyboard some timer ago.

This time, the folks from webosinternals managed to coax webOS 2.0 to display this:

As of this writing, it is not known that this component will serve. However, we have heard rumors of a webOS slate in the past – let’s see how this plays out…

HP’s decision to use webOS instead of Windows has probably raised quite a few heads at Microsoft’s – while most of Microsoft’s other hardware partners have deployed at least a token Windows Phone, HP npow gives up on another Microsoft product.

WorldWideGadget reports the following:

Allen Buckner, Marketing Manager for the former Home Server Group, gave the news in a phone conference earlier this month, saying only that HP was “shifting additional resources to focus on webOS initiatives”

If you ask me, we could see a webOS netbook in a year or two – if HP would finally permit developers to use the Qt runtime which comes with every Pre, well,…
