The Chinese device vendor ZTE has been growing fast especially in direct sales to operators. Mobile World Live, the news source of the 3GSM Association, now brings a 10-minute interview with their CEO.

When asked about mobile operating systems, he claimed the following:

One is bad, monopoly. Two is bad, as alliance can be made. Three operating systems is best – you can have some competition. … Our operator partners strongly suggest to support more operating systems.
