Simon Pfundstein

Hello Metalheads,

how you’re know, “MetalFan” is an Palm webOS app for and about all kinds of metal and hard rock (heavy metal, power metal, thrash metal, folk metal, black metal, death metal, melodic metal and all that stuff). I’m the developer of MetalFan and yesterday I received an e-mail about my app. Somebody questioned me: “How about hip hop or pop?”.

Well, I don’t will add hip hop or pop to my app. Why? The most metaller (like I) don’t listen to hip hop or pop. I think it’s not false to say that the most true metaller hate genres like hip hop… .

Bad news for Australians: Maybe the Palm Pre will launch in Australia, but not that soon! That’s what Palm wrote (as Email)

“At this moment in time, we do not yet have any plans to launch the Palm Pre or any of our new WebOS products in Asia Pacific. Our focus right now is to establish a strong presence in North America and Europe. However, we do not discount the possibility of offering this new range of products at a later date.

It is therefore not a rumor that Palm has significantly reduced its presence in the region to one of operational support to our existing customers requiring our in-warranty services and technical support for our sold products.”
